The Sensor Based Diffraction Kit adds accessories to transform your PAStrack into an ideal optics bench for advanced studies of the properties of light.
The PAStrack system is a versatile addition to any lab that can be used to teach kinematics, Newton's Laws, momentum and more. And with these specially designed components it can also be used to teach interference and diffraction as well as reflection, refraction, Snell's Law, colors and other topics in optics.
When used in conjunction with a High Sensitivity Light Sensor and Rotary Motion Sensor students can easily collect data past the 15th maxima in a double-slit experiment. This system enables students to scan many diffraction and interference patters during one period -- easily change slit width, slit separation and number of slits.
For a diffraction system that includes the optics bench, consider the Sensor-Based Diffraction System.
