For more than 25 years, Palas® has been building complete filter test systems for filters and filter media and upgrades existing test rigs by components for the particle generation (aerosol generators for droplets, salts and solid particles) and for the particle measurment (aerosol spectrometers). The Palas® aerosol generators are characterized by highest constancy regarding particle concentration and size.

Due to the high-resolution light-scattering spectrometer welas® digital 3000, the fractional separation efficiencies are determined easier, faster, more reliably and more exactly. Due to the light-wave conductor technology, particle losses in the sampling lines are minimised as the sensors are fixed directly on the measuring point.

Palas® provides with FTControl an internationally proven software for a simple, reliable and fast filter test. FTControl makes a fully-automatic process of the measuring programs possible, e. g. fractional separation efficiency, lifetime or EN 779 measuring procedures as well as an automation of the test rig, e.g. control of the volume flow, differential pressure measurement etc.

The Palas® single components (aerosol generators, dilution systems and aerosol spectrometers) are adapted with each other and provide fast, reproducible and thus economic test results. Palas® provides with the pre-acceptance and the final acceptance of the system a clear functional proof of the single components and thus offers a functional guarantee to the customer.
