Introduction
The BIX-8801 diode laser spectrum and power test system includes integrating sphere, power meter and spectrometer. The system is modular and mainly used for real-time measurement of diode laser’s power and spectrum. The optical power range is 100nW to 10 W, the spectral range is 200 nm to 1100 nm and the spectral resolution is 0.1 nm to 1 nm.

Integrating Sphere
Integrating sphere is useful for measurement of divergent light emitted from laser diodes. Its inner surface is coated with high reflectivity material. The light is distributed evenly over the whole sphere after many times reflection that makes the measurement accurately. The per configuration integrating sphere provided by Brolight is aluminum shell, and the inner diameter is 150mm.
Optical power meter
BIM-7001 is a high performance handheld optical power meter. It has lager size LCD segment code display and is real time communicating with computer by USB 2.0 interface. It also supports dual acquisition mode. It can work with many photodetectors made by Brolight, the wavelength range is 200 to 1100nm, and the power range is 100 pW to 10m W.

Fiber spectrometer
Customer can select different fiber spectrometer configurations for BIX-8801. For example, the 60 series spectrometer has a small and handy size, the resolution ranges from 0.35 to 1nm. The 66 series spectrometer’s resolution is 0.3nm.
