New Focus Tunable Lasers Product Manager Diana Warren, announced the release of the complete family of Vortex Plus lasers, with wavelengths offered from 455 nm to 1630 nm.  The Vortex Plus is New Focus’ premium finely tunable diode laser and replaces the Vortex II, which is now obsolete in August, 2014.

Overview：
he Vortex Plus is a narrow linewidth, single mode, Littman-Metcalf design tunable laser used for atomic physics applications, interferometry, spectroscopy, and metrology. It is the latest of several generations of Vortex lasers with a reputation in the atomic physics community for being the "go-to" laser when the application calls for high precision and stability. The Vortex Plus also has the widest mode-hop-free tuning compared to any other piezo tunable external cavity diode laser on the market, which is critical for interferometry and metrology.
